Chastain Park

Chastain Park is one of Atlanta’s premier neighborhoods, located between Northside Drive on the west and Roswell Road to the east. Homes in this area are mostly single-family residences with a wide variety of architectural styles. Many who prefer the Buckhead lifestyle — yet want something a bit farther from the city — find the Chastain area perfect. Chastain Park itself is Atlanta’s largest city park, with 268 sprawling acres. This creates one of the most thriving community areas in the city, with the Civic Association founded in 1978 dedicated to “promoting good citizenship” and furthering “the common good and general welfare of the people of Chastain Park.” Residents who live near the park enjoy walking paths, tennis courts, multiple playgrounds, an 18-hole golf course, community swimming pool, concert amphitheater, and horse park. The amphitheater has hosted musicians ranging from the Backstreet Boys to Bob Dylan, and everything in between.
